Nigerian singers, Waje and Ric Hassani, have sparked wedding rumours due to a recent picture posted by the actress and singer, Waje on her Instagram account on January 19, 2021.
The singer was seen smiling while looking at the male RnB singer, Ric Hassani. Although his head was barely showing but she captioned, “It’s time.”
Some speculations have been going on Social Media since she posted the picture, some are in disbelief, some congratulated them and others are still skeptical about whether it is a stunt.
However, comments under her page that caught the most attention was that of her colleague and best friend in the industry, Omawumi who sent her congratulatory message, “Heyy Jisox! Can I dance with my fowl to the altar?”
Other Celebrities have given their congratulatory messages to the singer, that includes Ghanian actress, Juliet Ibrahim who wrote, “Awwww finally it’s here.”
Toyin Abraham who recently celebrated her husband’s birthday asked Waje’s best friend, Omawumi, where she can purchase the aso-ebi from. “How do we get our aso ebi. So we can start sewing mad style,” she asked.
Ace actress, Mercy Johnson-Okojie simply signified interest in the bridal train. She commented, “Bridal train loading. Congratulations awesome Waje.
Media personality and Entrepreneur, Toke Makinwa, said, “Congratulations my friend, finally we can share the good news.”
The singer’s best friend, Omawumi, reposted the picture on her own personal Instagram page further indicating the rumours to be true. She captioned, “Besto Asoebi Loading ehhhh!”

Ric Hassani, a Nigerian singer and songwriter, has also done well in the industry. His songs includes Gentleman and Believe.
