22 Vessels with petroleum products, food items, others to berth at Lagos ports

About 22 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are to berth at the Lagos ports from Aug. 24 to Sept.4.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) made this disclosure in its publication, Shipping Position, in Lagos on Tuesday stating that the ships contained bulk malt, bulk sugar, container, bulk gypsum, bulk soya bean, bulk wheat, bulk coal, soda ash and frozen fish.

The statement added that 23 ships were discharging bulk wheat, general cargo, container, bulk sugar, butane gas, bulk fertilizer, bulk gypsum, fuel, soya bean, automobile gasoline, jet fuel and sugar.

Further details added that ten other ships had arrived, waiting to berth with general cargo, base oil, bulk gypsum, pipes, bulk wheat and petrol.
