About 25 youths have been reportedly abducted along Wukari-Takum Road, Takum, Taraba State, by suspected kidnappers, report claims.
It was gathered that the incident happened at about 6pm on Wednesday, when the youths were on their way back to Takum from Wukari where they had attended a marriage ceremony.
A source in Wukari claimed the youths ran into a roadblock mounted by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers between Amadu and Chanchanji before they were taken into the bush by the gunmen.
This has been confirmed by the Taraba State Police Command’s spokesman, DSP David Misal, who said the Command was yet to establish exactly what happened, but an investigation was ongoing.
