28 ships expected with petroleum products, other goods at Lagos ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Monday it was expecting 28 ships to bring in petroleum products and other goods from Sept. 9 to Sept. 28, at Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports.

It said in its daily publication ‘Shipping Position’ that two ships, of the expected 28, would sail in with petrol and diesel.

The remaining 26 ships were expected with general cargo, base oil, bitumen, bulk gypsum, buckwheat, and containers carrying different goods.

According to NPA, 27 ships have arrived the ports waiting to berth with containers, general cargo, diesel and petrol.

NPA said a total of 14 ships were discharging buckwheat, general cargo, bulk gypsum, container, petrol and diesel.
