30 drug suspects arrested in two months — NDLEA

National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has disclosed that it has arrested 30 suspected drug peddlers between May and June at the international wing terminal and the cargo areas Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos.

Assistant Commander-General of Narcotics (ACGN) Ahmadu Garba, revealed this on Thursday at the agency’s command at the Lagos airport.

Garba said the arrests were made through intelligence gathering.

He added that the coming on board of Brig. General Buba Marwa, chairman of NDLEA, boosted the morale of officers to achieving this feat.

According to him, the command was awarded the Most Outstanding Command by NDLEA for its due diligence and the excellent performance of its officers.
