The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) says Governor Ademola Adeleke was taking credit for projects embarked on by his predecessor.

The party spoke during a press conference addressed by Tajudeen Lawal, its acting Chairman in Osogbo on Wednesday.

According to Lawal, the Adeleke administration has halted activities of the Ilesha University (IU), while the Adegboyega Oyetola administration has met all requirements and received approval from adequate bodies.

The APC claimed that the Adeleke administration was in possession of N90 billion which it had received in the last three months.

Describing the 100 days of the administration as uneventful, Kola Olabisi, the Osun APC Director of Media and Information, who stood in for Lawal, alleged that the N90 billion that accrued to the state’s coffers was lavishly spent and unaccounted for.

The Adeleke administration was also accused of sacking 1500 teachers and 500 health workers recruited by the Adeleke administration for political reasons.

“Adeleke also sacked 500 health workers when there was not enough of the required health staff in the state. Adeleke has been using political hoodlums to torment and harass members of the opposition APC members before, during and after the Presidential and National Assembly elections,” he claimed.
