American actress, Angela Kinsey, has revealed she has tested positive for coronavirus after her mom, husband and children also came down with Covid-19.
She revealed this on her Instagram story on Tuesday, December 29, 2020.
The actress stated she decided to take the test because she felt a little “unwell”
“I started to feel unwell and went to get tested again. I knew the odds were against me since I was living with four Covid positive people. I really tried to quarantine and not get it,” Kingsey said.
The actress has been keeping her followers updated about how her husband and three children had contacted the virus over Christmas.
Announcing the news she wrote: “Morning. Merry Christmas Eve. It’s been a tough few days here but my morning mask hair and I wanted to say a big thank you for all of your messages of love and support. They have meant so much! To bring some of you up to speed, last weekend our boys started running low-grade fevers. We got everyone tested and the boys tested positive for Covid.
“We don’t go out and about and have been in lockdown so we aren’t sure how they got it. My husband, daughter and I all tested negative. We went into quarantine in our own home. Living in separate bedrooms, wearing masks etc.”
Kinsey stated her husband and daughter started feeling unwell and they had to do the test, “This week, Isabel and Josh start running a fever. We immediately tested them again. Isabel and Josh now have Covid. I somehow do not. I am now quarantining by myself.
She continued, “So far they are all having very mild cases and I am thankful for that. We’ll be having a masked Covid Christmas over here. Stay safe you all! Sending you my love. (And, I am double masking when I am around my family. This cloth mask and an N95 over it but it’s hard to breathe. I just figured you all might be curious how I’m navigating getting through my house.)”
The 49-year old actress had shared screenshot of her mother’s result to her followers.
Kinsey also revealed her concerns about her mom’s health who contacted the virus, stating that they are not in the same city and it worries her.
She wrote, “I can’t sleep. I’m thinking about my mum alone in a hospital room and no one can visit her because she has Covid. I’m thinking about my husband and kids that I have to quarantine away from in my own home because they have Covid and I do not. My mum is in Texas. I am in California. But it doesn’t matter where you are. This is everywhere.
“Thank you for sharing your Covid stories with me. They make me feel less alone. Nighttime is the worst. I feel powerless and worried and I pray.”
The actress is best known as Angela Martins in sitcom “The office” and also appeared in sitcoms like “Your family or mine” and “Haters back off”.
