Second runner-up of Big Brother Shine Ya Eye, Pere, has cleared the air concerning allegations that he used another housemate, Maria, as a strategy to win.
In a post-eviction interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Pere said contrary to people’s opinions and conclusions about how it turned out, Maria was not a strategy.
He also said he is still hoping for forgiveness from Maria.
Recall that the two were somewhat in a relationship in the house before Maria was suddenly evicted.
They were also the fake housemates (Wildcards) Biggie introduced to the house.
He said, “Maria was not a strategy; she happened to be the right person at that moment at the time.
“I know I said some stuff that shouldn’t have been said, I hope she forgives that’s all.”
