Former Shine Ya Eye housemate, Maria, has opened up on how she feels about Pere and the things he said about her.
Maria disclosed her feelings during an interview outside the house.
According to her, she does not feel romantically towards Pere. All she feels is likeness and not love contrary to people’s assumptions.
She said, “It was nothing romantic, I just liked him as a person and the fact that he claimed he loved me.”
Maria had this to say when asked about how Pere flirted with Queen while she was still in the house. She said, “It was a respect thing. I wish he played as a housemate with every other person.
“I felt disrespected that you said you liked me but you do things at my back and I get to hear them. I just wish he never lied to me at all and we were just housemates.
Speaking about Queen and her clash with her, she said, “During our clash, I said things to her that I would have said to other housemates. It was not particularly about Pere.
“I am human, I don’t know why I would say things and I would be dragged but others will and they won’t be dragged.”
Recall that she also said similar things about Pere when asked by Ebuka after the eviction.
