Former Big Brother Shine Ya Eye housemate, Tega Dominic, has stated that contrary to people’s belief about her marriage, she had gone into the house as separated.
Tega, during the reunion show day 11, had defended her acts where she was caught in an illicit manner with a man while in the house.
Recall that while in the house and even outside the house, Tega had received heavy backlash for her behaviour especially since she was known and respected to be a married woman.
However, in a new twist on day 11, Tega had stated that her husband’s affair had broken the home leaving them separated.
According to her, her introduction as a married woman was her own strategy to win the show. She said she didn’t do anything with Boma because she sees him as a friend and nothing more.
Boma also agreed with the fact that she had told him about the separation.
Tega said, “For a fact, I didn’t go into the show as married. I went in as separated. In all my interviews, I clearly stated it. I went into the house as separated.
“During our conversations and introductions, I just said well I’m married and I have a kid. That was supposed to be a strategy.
“Getting deep into the show, I then discovered that this was doing something great in a bad way to me.”
Boma said, “I didn’t say that, what I did was right or wrong but I knew something that other housemates didn’t know, Tega told me she was separated at that time.”
