Former Big Brother Naija Level Up housemate, Bella, has defended her lover, Shegzz, over domestic violence allegations.
Recall that the male reality TV star has received heavy backlash since he got evicted over how he treated Bella and his ex-girlfriend’s claims.
Defending him, Bella, in an interview on Arise TV, stated that he was misunderstood because he took care of her in the house contrary to the allegations.
She said the way he speaks can be easily misunderstood because of where he was based before coming on the show.
Bella said, “I always told him you might be misunderstood. I mean you live in UK the way we speak in Nigeria is totally different from the way we speak over there.
“He might say ‘you’re sick’, there, it’s okay to say that but here it’s not okay. It might bee seen as an insult. He was even sweet to me in the house, everyone saw that.
“I was vulnerable and he was vulnerable. I mean it’s okay to be vulnerable. I mean sometimes you get triggered by that.”
The two have not been seen together since the end of the show.
