President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, tested negative for coronavirus.

The president’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, however, tested positive.

Abba Kyari recently returned from Munich Germany on 12 March 2020 where he had meetings with the German company Siemens and other engagements.

There is no sign that Mr Kyari took a test upon return or self-isolate as mandated by the Federal Government.

Reports suggest that the President’s Chief of Staff didn’t know he was infected as he reportedly had no symptoms.

He hasn’t travelled out since his return on 12 March.

Medical sources suggest Kyari most probably contacted it in Abuja mingling and shaking hands with many diplomats, foreigners and travellers daily. Kyari has since self-isolated upon testing positive.

But as of Monday evening, Kyari had reportedly gotten a list of everyone he has been in contact within the last 2 weeks and advised all them to get tested and self-isolate.
