The headquarters of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Maitamaa, Abuja is currently on fire.
According to reports, the seventh and eight floors of the building are the worst hit by the inferno.
Established in 1990 vide Companies and Allied Matters Act no 1 1990 as amended, now on Act cap C20 Laws of federation of Nigeria, the body is charged with the responsibility to regulate the formation and management of companies.
This shock incident comes barely two weeks after the Treasury House, which houses the Accountant General of the Federation’s office suffered similar fire outbreak.
