The Osun State Traditional Rulers’ Council has suspended the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, for six months.
The monarchs reached the decision on Friday at an emergency meeting held at Osun State Government Secretariat, Abere.
Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, presided over the meeting.
Oluwo was suspended over a physical attack on the Agbowu of Ogbagba, Oba Dhikirulahi Olaniran.
