The Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Ibrahim Gambari, says the president will be remembered for leaving a legacy of credible elections and infrastructure.

Speaking on Sunday when members of the Legislative Mentorship Initiative (LMI) visited the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Gambari said young citizens are fortunate to be Nigerian.

“I think you are fortunate to be born a Nigerian”.

Gambari revealed that President Buhari had laid a solid foundation for youth empowerment in Nigeria, noting that the President’s commitment to youth development was displayed through the signed Startup Act 2022.

He added that a similar Act recorded tremendous successes in Morocco, Tunisia and India.

Gambari also listed the 2nd Niger Bridge, Lagos-Ibadan expressway, Abuja-Kano expressway, roads and railways, ports and power sector improvement, as the president’s achievements.

“He is committed to leaving by the time the administration comes to an end on May 29, 2023”.
