Son of President Muhammadu Buhari, Yusuf Buhari, is set to marry daughter of Emir of Bichi, Zahra Bayero, in Kano State.
Zahra Bayero who is currently studying architecture in the United Kingdom is set to marry Yusuf in the “next two to three months” according to news source.
The source continued, “Preparations are on top gear for the grand event. As the tradition provides, the parents of the groom have met with the parents of the bride to express Yusuf’s interest in marrying Zahra.”
The source revealed that the wedding got delayed due to the absence of the groom’s mother, Aisha Buhari, who travelled to Dubai. And that the wedding will commence now that Aisha is back.
“Now that his mother returned a few weeks to Ramadan [Muslim holy month], it is clear the wedding will take place after Sallah holidays,” the source said.
Recall that Yusuf was involved in a ghastly bike accident in December 2017 that cost him a month in a hospital, before he was flown abroad for further treatment.
