Abubakar noted that the CAC is making all efforts to showcase a reformed service structure and customers satisfaction latest end of October, as against its earlier announced deadline of December 2020.

He added that “The Corporate Affairs Commission was committed to amongst others register companies in 48 hours, approve names same day and ensure 5-day completion for other post-incorporation services not available electronically.”

He also added that the huge impact of the coronavirus pandemic spurred the reformation of the CAC service style and may adopt same throughout the era.

Abubakar assured that industry best practices globally remain the focus of the commission as most services are totally online from the comfort of homes and offices while adding that he hopes to achieve three key objectives that include: to entrench the ease of doing business initiatives of the Federal Government, ensure greater disclosure and strengthen the legal framework.

Recall that the registration of businesses and companies has before now been an issue of controversy owing to the delays in the process as testified by the public.

  1. Story! Story! story! Approval of Name alone takes 2-3 days . I have 4 pending post incorporation applications pending for over 45days now . Pls, let him just do the needful we will be the ones proclaiming CAC’s breakthroughs. We are tired of all his white elephant archievments. A client who had given me a name for which I request for RGs consent over 5weeks after payment of N5000 which was before now N500, was bitter and asking me to do something. What else can I say when on the media everything is done with the speed of light.
