Two more staff of Oyo-based company, iSON Xperiences have tested positive for COVID-19.

Governor Seyi Makinde made this known in a series of tweets on Tuesday while also confirming two other cases.

“The COVID-19 confirmation tests for four suspected cases came back POSITIVE. Two are from iSON Xperiences and one case each from Ibadan South West and Egbeda Local Government Areas. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State is 244,” he wrote.

With the new addition, the number of infected persons at the customer service company is now 151.

iSON, thus, accounts for over 60 per cent of COVID-19 cases in the state.

The company’s first cases were confirmed by Makinde on Saturday, May 16, 2020.

Since then, the customer service provider has recorded coronavirus cases every day.

Nigeria reached a grim milestone 8,000 cases on Monday as confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
