The Delta State Government, on Saturday, confirmed its third case of COVID-19.

According to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, the patient, a male, was diagnosed in Asaba, the state capital and is currently being managed by the healthcare professionals in one of the isolation centers.

In a bid to curb further spread, Okowa reinstated the lockdown policy and as such, all Christians are to worship at their various homes on Easter Sunday.

This, however, nullifies his earlier statement of adhering to certain conditions for the Easter sunday celebrations.

In his words, “this further reinforces our call for social distancing and a lockdown”.
