COVID-19, the deadly consequence of coronavirus, has struck in the household of Lt. General Donaldson Oladipo Diya, taking away his wife Rebecca Folashade at the age of 66.
The retired Nigerian Army Infantry officer and late Head of State General Sani Abacha’s second-in/Command as Chief of General Staff, has consequently gone into isolation together with other members of his family.
Though details are sketchy, the Diyas are believed to have been taken into isolation and treatment in one of such facilities operated by the Lagos State Government.
