The host of reality TV show, Big brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 5, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, has announced that all the housemates will be up for eviction every week except the head of house and deputy.
Ebuka made this known on the first Sunday night eviction show.
He explained that, from Monday, each housemate is going to be up for possible eviction, except the week’s head of house and deputy.
He further added that each housemate would be instructed by Big Brother to vote out one of the four housemates with the minimum number of votes.
This would be done during their diary sessions.
The housemate(s) with the most votes will be evicted live on Sunday.
On the first Sunday night eviction, Ebuka did a highlight with the housemates on the events that took place during the week.
The first head of house for the Season 5 reality show, Nengi, and her deputy, Wathoni, shared their experience and challenges.
Wathoni explained that she was surprised to have been chosen, by Nengi to be the deputy head of house as she thought Nengi was going to pick a male as her deputy.
In relation to the events that occurred during the week, Ebuka asked the housemates intense questions based on their issues.
Wathoni disclosed that she felt subdued by Ka3na’s reaction during the week being the reason for their saga.
Kaisha accused Lucy of chasing clout, by exaggerating the issue, although, they agreed that they had both resolved their issues.
It was during the highlight of the events that Ebuka revealed the major twirl to the Season 5 of the reality show.
The Season 5 of the reality TV show, which started on Sunday, July 19, 2020, has 20 housemates contesting for the grand prize of N85m.
The breakdown of the grand prize of the season Season 5 reality TV show includes N30m cash prize, a two-bedroom apartment sponsored by Revolution Plus, a top of the range SUV courtesy Nigerian automaker, Innoson Motors, a trip to Dublin sponsored by Guinness, home appliances from Scanfrost.
Others are a trip to Dubai sponsored by Travelbeta, supply of Indomie noodles for a year, Munch it, and Colgate toothpaste, supply of Pepsi for a year, a branded chiller, trip to watch the UEFA Champions League Finale and a brand new Oppo mobile smartphone.
