Toluwalope Arotile: in the end, there is no death in the skies, only fear. No eye has beheld a dead eagle in the firmament. The hawk flying belly-up is still alive. It is on the ground that grim reaping occurs, hence the extremity of caution advising the landing of the feathery ones.

Hardly any demise in which the earth is not an accomplice. Gravity is an angel serving life and death alike, with a bias for the latter. Tolulope in her final sortie, did not fly onto the terrain.

Tolu crashed on earth and flew away, forever. And with her some hopes and dreams and what might have been. I salute the Princess of the Clouds with my crushed digits.

My wings are inside my heart, frozen in pain!
