The #EndSARS protesters took their campaigns to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) headquarters on Sunday as they made their call for an end to police brutality and extrajudicial killings.

The almost two weeks protest has seen massive campaigns across the country with the protesters defying distractions from the government and vowing not to leave the streets until their demands are met.

The protesters, carrying their placards, blocked the main entrance into the apex bank corporate office.

The protest is gathering momentum despite the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, disbanding the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in the wake of the protests.

This was also followed by a rejection of the new tactical unit, Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT), which was formed by the police authorities as a replacement for the disbanded SARS alleging that no difference will be made as it may just be a change of identity not ideology and modus operandi.
