Ex-Kaduna incorruptible Governor and foremost nationalist, Balarabe Musa is dead

A former governor of the old Kaduna State, Balarabe Musa has died aged 84.

Musa, renowned for being “incorruptable” founded the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) where he was elected governor in the Second Republic in 1979.

A member of the PRP, Senator Shehu Sani, announced Musa’s death on Wednesday.

“Alhaji Balarabe Musa has died. May Allah forgive his souls and grant him AFirdausiirdausi. Amin,” he tweeted.

The ex-governor exited from active politics in 2018 but had already earned high praises among his peers.

“I personally will say I know not of any honest, sincere and incorruptible man as Alhaji Balarabe Musa, when we are talking of integrity and honesty, you cannot equate any Nigerian with him,’’ former Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole said in 2018.
