Popular rapper and actor, Folarin Falana also known as Falz, joined his father, Femi Falana, and others for the protest against insecurity and poverty in the country.

The protesters under the aegis of the People’s Alternative Political Movement paraded the streets of Lagos on Monday, May 31, 2021 with placards.

They marched from the Ikeja Bus Stop to the Governor’s Office through the Secretariat to the Lagos State House of Assembly.

Falz, who is best known as a human rights defender, was also one of the frontline leaders at the #EndSARS movement that happened in October 2020.

The placards had messages like ‘Enough is Enough’, ‘No to Exploitation and Multiple Taxation’, ‘Provide Jobs or Unemployment Benefits for Youths’, ‘End Kidnapping and Banditry’, ‘Stop Killings, Secure Nigeria’ and ‘Provide security in schools’.

The protest lasted for hours.
