FG appoints Odunowo as new NAMA MD

The Federal Government has appointed Engr. Tayib Adetunji Odunowo as the Managing Director of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, (NAMA).

He replaces Mathew Pwajok, who was in acting capacity.

Odunowo was the Director of Aerodrome and Airspace Standards (DAAS), Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) before his appointment as NAMA boss.

Pwajok’s removal is coming few days after the removal of some top officials in the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

He was appointed in acting capacity in February 2022 and had since exceeded the six months acting stewardship of the agency.
