Officials of the Federal Fire Service have put out the fire at the headquarters of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Abuja.
The inferno, which affected the sixth and seventh floors, broke out on Wednesday morning.
It is being mooted that faulty air-conditioners triggered the fire.
The CAC Registrar-General, Garba Abubakar, however, confirmed that no document or life was lost during the outbreak.
“There was a minor fire incident at the CAC today (Wednesday) which was quickly extinguished by the men of the fire service. However, there was no loss of document or lives,” he said.
This comes about one week after similar fire incident at the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation in Garki area.
