Gbajabiamila resigns from House of Reps after 20 years

The Chief of Staff Femi Gbajamiabila has resigned his membership of the House of Representatives after 20 years in the Green Chamber.

This is after he was recently named the Chief of Staff by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Gbajabiamila served as th Speaker of the 9th House of Representatives before this development.

Gbajabiamila’s resignation was convened in a letter read by Speaker Tajudeen Abbas on Wednesday during plenary.

He was first elected in 2003 and he remained in the parliament for 20 years until his resignation today, Wednesday.
