Award winning singer, Ayodeji Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid, has lost his two nominations in different categories in the 64th Grammy Award night 2022.
Recall that the singer was nominated in two different categories with Nigerians and other African artistes in the categories.
Other Nigerians including Burna Boy, Femi Kuti, Made Kuti and Tems.
Wizkid was nominated for Best Global Music Performance alongside Femi Kuti, Burna Boy and Tems. He lost to ‘Mohabbat’ Aroof Aftab.
His album ‘Made in Lagos’ was also nominated for Best Global Music Album alongside Ricky Dawumi’s Voice of Bunbon Volume, Femi & Made Kuti’s Legacy, and Angelique Kodjo’s Mother Nature. He lost to Mother Nature.
