Three family members were reportedly kidnapped on Monday at Greenland community behind 500 Housing Estate, Ganaja in Ajaokuta Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The incident occurred at about 9 pm as residents within the community scampered for safety as a result of gunshots.
The Chairman of the Greenland community Ajaokuta Local Government Area Kogi State, Paul Atabor confirmed the incident to newsmen on Wednesday.
Atabor explained that the incident has been reported to the C Division of the Nigeria Police Force and the Department of State Services, (DSS).
The Chairman further hinted that the community on Wednesday morning received a notice from suspected kidnapping that they are coming back to kidnap more people.
The letter reads” Greenland community, get ready for us, we are coming to get someone”.
