Nollywood actor and singer, Bankole Wellington known as Banky W, has revealed how he really felt after popular singer, Wizkid, missed his wedding.
Banky W, in an interview with Ebuka Uchendu, said he felt disappointed when Wizkid didn’t show up for his wedding.
However, he added that he was aware that Wizkid had a concert he couldn’t avoid at the same time.

Recall that hours ago, a recorded interview was dropped by Banky W over how he really felt about Wizkid not attending his wedding.
Banky W said he felt disappointed that his former signee couldn’t make his wedding. He said he was aware Wizkid had a concert he couldn’t afford to miss but Tiwa made the wedding.
He also talked about his album contract with Wizkid, stating that the singer was supposed to give him five albums as originally agreed on but he left after two albums.
Banky W said, “Was I disappointed that he wasn’t at the wedding? I was but I know he tried because there was a show with a lot of the artists…I think it was One Africa.
“As a matter of fact Tiwa ended up…there was no business class and she took economy seat so she could make it. But he called at the time that he was so sorry.”
Banky talked about how he had decided to let Wizkid go when he requested to leave his record label. According to Banky W, he saw Wizkid’s determination to make it on his own and he didn’t want to stay in his ways.
He said Wizkid was supposed to finish 5 albums before his exit but he had done two solo albums before he decided to leave.
Wizkid left E.M.E in April 2013 after his second album.
