The first son of a former President of the Senate, Dr Chuba Okadigbo, Pharaoh Okadigbo, has died in an accident.

The accident occurred in Abuja on Saturday, May 22.

His vehicle ran into a Coca-Cola truck, leaving him dead and the car badly damaged.

KaftanPost cannot independently confirm if the accident occurred as a result of failure to have the vehicle under control or speed at the time of filing this report.

However, it would be recalled that three years ago, tragedy befell the family when Obiajulu Jideofor Okadigbo, one of Dr Chuba Okadigbo’s sons, died in the United States of America from a cold-related ailment. He died on May 29 at the age of 30.

President Muhammadu Buhari, whose running mate in the 2003 presidential election was Dr Chuba Okadigbo, has condoled with the Okadigbo’s family over the death of their son, Pharaoh Okadigbo.

The president’s condolence message was contained in a statement issued by his spokesman, Femi Adesina, in Abuja on Sunday, May 23.

Buhari said, “It is very sad to lose such a promising young man, with so much potentials and passion for youth involvement in the socio-political development of Nigeria.”

He added that “the nation will miss a firm believer in the necessity for people to work in collaboration with governments at all levels to achieve the better society we all wish for.”

  1. What lazy journalism.

To write how he died as the heading then say Kaftanpost cannot confirm is totally just click bait with zero substance

  2. This is ghastly! My condolences to the gamily. I think the month of May will always be a month for the Okadigbos to be more careful and prayerful. May his soul rest in peace.
