American actress and former Fashion model, Jane Fonda, has said she doesn’t wish to be in any sexual relationship, she said she doesn’t have the interest anymore.
The 83-year-old said this in her new cover interview for Harper’s Bazaar. She said: “I don’t want to be in a relationship, a sexual relationship, again. I don’t have that desire.”
The actress said she can only consider if the partner seem younger than her age, in other words, she makes an exception for young bloods.
She said, “Do I fantasize? Yes…That I meet a professor or a researcher, somebody in that line who is really capable of loving, of cherishing a woman, so that I could test myself and see if I could show up.
“I think maybe now I could, but the problem is that, like a man, I would want a younger man. Isn’t that awful? It’s a thing about skin. I would want a younger man, and I’m too vain.”
The actress who has gone through three failed marriages to French director Roger Vadim, political activist Tom Hayden, and billionaire founder of CNN, Ted Turner, wonders if she still has it in her to satisfy sexual urges.
She wondered if she had been the problem all through her three marriages and wouldn’t want to set another man in the misery of perfecting her sexual urges when she is aware of her own flaws.
Fonda stated she is fond of making wrong choices when it comes to her emotions, she said she either run away from the risk of letting it all go or not show up to face the challenges.
“What I’ve had to really think about is that I’m not really capable [of intimacy].” She continued, “It’s not them. It’s me. If a guy had come along and said, ‘Come on, Fonda, show up,’ I would have run away scared.
“I was attracted to men who never would have done that to me because they couldn’t necessarily show up themselves. I didn’t know that at the time, but now I know. I don’t think I can do anything about it now, but that’s the truth, as Lily [Tomlin] would say. That’s the truth,” she concluded.
