TV presenter, IK Osakioduwa, has debunked rumours that he has coronavirus.
IK was alleged to have contracted the virus during a trip to the United Kingdom.
Being the host of the recently-held 2020 edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) further fueled speculations about his status with many suggesting that the 40-year-old may have even infected a glut of attendees.
IK, according to reports, was subjected to harsh treatment and stigmatisation by his neighbours and friends.
However, in a video posted on social media, the media personality has rubbished all the claims.
Flanked by his two kids, the 40-year-old said he doesn’t have the virus and has not been to the UK this year.
IK, however, warned mischief makers to stop spreading falsehood and unite to put an end to this pandemic.
“… I’m seeing people passing messages on WhatsApp that I travelled to London, came back with the coronavirus, took it to the AMVCAs, took it to some clubs. I haven’t been to London in a very long time. I haven’t been to that club… I don’t have coronavirus…,” he said.
