Winner of BBNaija lockdown edition, Olamilekan Agbeleshe, also known as Laycon, has revealed he has always known how successful he would be.

The rapper and singer, in an interview with Accelerate TV, narrated his achievements and his educational background.

According to him, he had waited till he got admission in the University of Lagos (UNILAG) because that was what he wanted.

He also talked about his view of success.

He said, “I have always known I would be successful. When I say ‘successful’, I want you to know that people have different metrics for measuring success.

“My own idea of success would probably be different from that of someone else. The yardstick that a lot of people use to measure success is different from what I use. The bottom line is that I never had doubts about my success.

“I stayed home for three years and I was getting admission offers into other schools but I wanted UNILAG, because I felt it would help me as an artiste. I believed I would be exposed to more growth as an artiste there.

“My dream is to keep growing, evolving and elevating in all areas of my life. I want to go on a world tour and perform at major international cities.

“I would love to do a lot musically and to feature people I don’t have access to yet. I just need to keep working hard to get there.”
