Singer Olorunyomi Oloruntimileyin also known as Bad Boy Timz, has recounted how he almost lost his eye after a gunshot when he was 9.
The singer in an interview with media personality, Shopsydoo, said they were under a robbery attack at his home in Mushin, Lagos.
He said the robbers were not caught and they had targeted his dad’s head but the bullet had missed hitting one of his eye.
He said, “I got shot in my eye when I was nine years old. They were assassins, they didn’t even stop the car, they just shot the bullets. It was not a robbery.
“Me, my mom, my dad, and my immediate elder brother. It was four of us in the car. The incident happened in Lagos, Mushin to be precise.
“They just overtook us and started shooting. They were targeting my dad’s head, he dodged and the bullet went straight into my eye.”
Some netizens dragged the singer for trying to chase clout with a pity story. Je took to his Twitter account to confirm his story.
He said he is not like other artistes who lie for pity and clout.
He tweeted, “Scars are signs of survival, miracle written on the skin!! i show my scars so others know they can heal…”
“I wonder why Nigerians will think I said that for clout! I’m not like your faves,” another tweet read.
