Kano state Hisbah board has reinstated Dala local government Hisbah Commander, Suyudi Muhammad Hassan, who was earlier suspended over alleged diversion of palliatives meant for the local government area.

In a letter with reference number KN/HB/OPS/88/04/V.II/191, signed by the state’s Hisbah board’s Principal Assistant Secretary, Muhammad Babangida D/Iya, it explained that after investigations, the suspended officer has been found not guilty of the offences he was accused of.

“I am directed to inform you that, the Commander General has approved the re-instatement of Suyudi Muhammad Hassan as Commander Dala local government Hisbah,” the letter stated.

Recall that the commander was suspended after the state Hisbah command received a petition alleging that he had diverted COVID-19 palliative.

The committee found all allegations against him false and fabricated to malign him.

With his recall, he resumed as commandant Hisbah of Dala local government.
