American rapper and entrepreneur, Kanye West, has been declared the richest African American in the United States of America history with a whooping $6.6 billion, according to Forbes Magazine.
The fashion mogul has his popular Yeezy brand partner with adidas and Gap Inc., and is now in between $3.2 billion and $4.7 billion by UBS Group AG.
West also has amassed $122 million in cash and stock and $110 million from his music catalog.
According to news source, the rapper is currently in a divorce mess with estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, who filed for the divorce.
The couple is blessed with four children, North, Psalm, Chicago, Saint.
Bloomberg also reports that West’s upcoming Gap collaboration could be worth $970 million, with more income coming from his music, stocks and business investments like his partnership with estranged wife’s SKIM underwear brand.
Adidas sold out on the latest Yeezy sneakers model, the 450, earlier this month. It’s expected to launch again as early as July, 2021.
