Katsina bandit leader, three others die as rival groups clash

A clash between members of two rival gangs of bandits in Katsina State has led to the death of a bandit leader and three others, reports claim.

According to reports, the bandits’ leader, known as Dogo Nabajallah, was killed inside the axis of Dungun Muazu forest located in Sabuwa Local Government Area of the state on Wednesday when members of a rival gang reportedly swooped on him and his members over issues concerning the marriage of a woman.

Report of the deaths went viral in Katsina on Thursday evening with claims that members of the rival gang were unhappy over Nabajallah’s interference in the marriage, hence the Wednesday attack.

In retaliation, Nabajallah group confronted the rival gang during which they killed three of them (members of the rival gang).

According to reports, Nabajallah’s remains were buried inside the forest on Wednesday, the day he was killed.

Katsina State and neighboring, Zamfara State have been battling with the activities of bandits, leaving many dead and others homeless.
