The Kpop Ham Dandali Gyet Maude, paramount ruler of Ham people in Kwoi local government area of Kaduna State, who was abducted in Nasarawa State, has regained freedom.
The monarch was abducted while visiting his farm around Panda in Nasarawa.
He was reportedly released around 9:30pm on Wednesday.
However, it is unknown if a ransom was paid for the 83-year-old traditional ruler, who was released 48 hours after his kidnap.
He has now reunited with his family and was seen with some of his subjects at his palace on Wednesday night.
Maude is one of the oldest traditional rulers in Kaduna.
