Kwara Deputy Gov, wife test positive for COVID-19

The deputy governor of Kwara State, Kayode Alabi and his wife, on Tuesday, tested positive for coronavirus.

This comes after Mr Alabi’s aides returned positive three weeks ago.

The deputy governor is also the chairman of the Technical Committee on Coronavirus.

Recall that he had warned that the disease was real and a present danger that required serious caution.

He explained that the government was determined to flatten the curve of coronavirus and curb community transmission.

Chief of Staff to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Aminu Logun, is the biggest casualty from Kwara.

The state has so far recorded 786 positive cases.
