The Lagos State Government has announced the discharge of five coronavirus patients.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu made this known in a series of tweets on Sunday.
” Dear Lagosians, yesterday I announced the discharge of one more patient from our Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba. Today, I am happy to inform you that five more patients comprising two males and three females including a 10 year old girl have tested negative twice to #COVID19,” he wrote.
With the additional five cases, this brings the number of recoveries in the state alone to 29.
The state is left with 86 patients.
Overall, there have been 224 confirmed cases in the country, five deaths and 32 recoveries.
