Lawmaker assures Nasarawa communities of better days

Alhaji Aliyu Dogara, member representing Wamba constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has assured his constituents of improvement in their standard of living.

Dogara gave the assurance on Wednesday in Lafia while playing host to members of Buh Development Association, Lafia branch, who paid him a courtesy visit.

He promised to provide infrastructure that would better the lots of people living in communities under his constituency.

The lawmaker commended members of the association for the visit, urging them to unite for the peace and progress of the constituency.

“I want to appreciate you for the visit and to assure you of my readiness to key into positive policies and programmes that will have direct bearing on the lives of the people of my constituency and the state at large.
“I also want to assure you and other people of the constituency of inclusive administration, sound, quality and effective representation, to take our constituency and the state at large to the next level of development,” he said.
Dogara solicited for the association’s support to enable him succeed in the task ahead.
He also called on the people of his constituency to support government at all levels so as to enable them to enjoy more dividends of democracy.
Mr Daniel Lawrence, the Chairman of the association, said that the visit was to congratulate and identify with the lawmaker on his successful inauguration as a member of the state legislature.
Lawrence assured the lawmaker of their prayers and support at all times.
“We are grateful to you and the state government for the actualisation of our dream, that is, the creation of Buh chiefdom, a third class status in Wamba Local Government Area of the state,” he said.
The chairman appealed to the legislator to assist the association in providing appointments/employment for its members for the overall development of the constituency and the state.
