The Met Gala is one of the biggest, starriest, fundraising event for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City. It marks the opening of the institute’s annual fashion exhibit.
This year’s edition, which held yesterday night after being delayed last year due to the pandemic, was nothing short of excitement and ravishing glamour.
Famous guests, who turned up for the event, followed the Covid-19 guidelines especially the use wearing of face masks but this didn’t keep out the eye-catching glamour.
This year’s costume theme is “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion” with looks were inspired by everything from the Matrix film franchise to the Statue of Liberty.
