The estranged husband of ace Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, Lanre Gentry, has re-married.
His new marriage is coming barely a year after his ex-wife Aigbe closed their marriage chapter.
The actress said she made the move because she was not having a peaceful marriage due to the marital issues she was battling with, including cheating.
Gentry has tied the knot with his new bride, Oluwabusayo, yesterday in a ceremony that was attended by family friends and fans of the businessman.
Taking to his Instagram account, he praised his new wife and thanked her for being his prayer warrior and always standing by him.
He shared a loving message to his bride, writing, “In every journey of a man’s life, having a good wife by the side is a great blessing from God… Thank you for standing with me. Again, for understanding, supporting, persevering, tolerating, loving and above all being my prayer warrior and partner. My small but mighty in power wife. My cool, calm and collected wife. My great planner and organiser. My ever jovial and a light to my path wife. You make loving, marriage and life worthwhile for me to live in. Our journey has started Mrs Oluwabusayo Olanrewaju Gentry iyawo.”
Meanwhile, in a recent interview earlier this year, Aigbe however cried out that their marriage was yet to be over as Gentry was get to sign the divorce papers. She called on the public to plead with him to sign the divorce papers.
“Please, everyone should appeal to him to sign the divorce papers. He has even refused to accept them. We are still married and not yet divorced. The divorce is not yet finalized,” Aigbe said.
