Troops of the Nigeria Army have killed scores of terrorists in Kamace in Kazai ward and Tsohon Kabula village in Munya Local Government Area of Niger State.
The incident happened on Friday, a day after terrorists killed eight security personnel in Igu village in Munya Local Government Area.
About 20 abducted persons who were kidnapped from Adunu and Beni communities by the terrorists also escaped from their abductors during the military onslaught on the terrorists.
A source close to Kamace village said that the air raid was done in two different locations.
According to him, the first group of the terrorists was trying to take cover at the Kamace Primary School when the air raid met them while the second group was killed when they went to recover the bodies of their colleagues.
