A 37-year-old Anambra businessman, Chukwunonso Chukwujekwu, who had gone missing for days, has been found dead in a hotel in Bauchi.
The death was mysterious as no one is yet to determine how he died.
Chukwunonso hailed from Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra state. A resident of Boi Village of Bogoro Local Government Area of Bauchi state.
He was a provision seller before his untimely death.
The incident had allegedly occurred two days before he was declared missing.
His last whereabouts was an Igbo end of the year party on Wednesday where he had participated because he was an active member of the Igbo community meeting.
Reports stated that the incident is coming one week after the abduction of a young politician, Markus Masoyi in Boi by gunmen who are still holding him captive and are demanding a N100m ransom.
He is survived by his wife and three children.
