NDLEA arrests 4 agents with money, credit cards to buy votes in Ogun

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have intercepted four party agents with hundreds of money credit cards, allegedly meant to buy votes at Ibara housing estate, Ogun state.

A statement by NDLEA said, “Each card contains 10k and activated to cash with a code.

“The Chairman NDLEA, Brig-Gen Buba Marwa has directed they be handed over to the police after proper documentation.”

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has vowed to clamp down on vote buyers.

Meanwhile the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (INEC) have been on the trail of vote buyers at different voting centres.
