Nigeria’s GDP grew 1.9% in 2018-NBS

Data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed that Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 1.9 per cent in 2’018.
According to the NBS, in its GDP report released on Tuesday, fourth quarter GDP grew by 2.38 per ceny as against 1.81 per cent recorded in the third quarter.
It is the fourth consecutive quarter of expansion, as the oil sector continued to rise while the non-oil output growth slowed.
