Reality TV star and 3rd runner up for Big Brother 2018, Alex Asogwa Amuche also known as Alex Unusual, has reacted to the trending video made by relationship guru, Derrick Jaxn, who claimed to have cheated on the wife several times.
Alex called the act, disgusting and weak, and that cheating shouldn’t be normalized as something acceptable.
She had made a post, stating a similar concern a day before the video was out.
She said “a woman’s strength shouldn’t be measured by how much bullshit she can entertain,” only to wake up to see Derrick’s video.
The video showed the man and his wife seated on a sofa, while the man talked about the number of times he has cheated on his wife and how things went afterwards.
Alex considered the act a low blow to women especially the wife, considering how she looked “unhappy and drained” in the video.
She also talked about how the man had been a relationship mentor and guide for many, including herself.
She said, “The fact that you even had her sit with you through this video!!!, Sis looks unhappy and drained. Why do you men do this? To think that people listened to you a lot. God forbid a man that’ll drain me this way. This is embarrassing and an insult to the woman.”
Alex also rebuked the act of men bringing their women into their own mess of cheating when the deed is done.
Recall that a Nigerian artist, 9ice, had made a similar video months ago, begging his fans to help plead with the wife after he was caught cheating.
Alex also dished out blame to the society who believed that men should be allowed to cheat without a sense of remorse.
She said people should stop saying, “All men cheat, we just have to learn how to live with it.”
In addition, she blamed parents who make their sons believe the world is at their feet and are allowed to misbehave while they make the girl-child believe something different.
“You teach your sons to misbehave on purpose and apologise, you force your daughters to forgive and stay unhappy, to protect their marriage, save family name and be called strong in weakness.
“Some people can take it, that’s fine but don’t make those that can’t feel like they are not normal. ‘Nobody deserves to be cheated on. No woman or man.'”
